About BeaconPoint

What is BeaconPoint?

BeaconPoint is a marketing agency for tour and activity operators. We help tour companies, boat cruises, rental businesses and activity operators get more direct bookings through SEO, paid ads, AI search visibility, content, social media, PR and website design. Sal Tringali founded BeaconPoint in 2023.

Where is BeaconPoint based?

BeaconPoint is based in Asheville, North Carolina. We work with operators across the United States and Canada, including New York City, Montreal, Kentucky, Montana and North Carolina.

Who runs BeaconPoint?

Sal Tringali, the founder, leads every account. He has more than 15 years in marketing, has built more than 150 websites and has managed more than $5 million in ad spend. He works with specialists he manages directly for design, writing and development, so you always deal with the person responsible for your results. Meet Sal.

What types of businesses do you work with?

Only tour and activity operators and experience businesses: walking and food tours, boat cruises, bus and trolley tours, rental companies and activity businesses. You never have to explain capacity, weather days or why a Tuesday matters.

Services

What services does BeaconPoint offer?

Google and Meta ads, SEO, AI search visibility, content marketing, social media, public relations, website design and WordPress maintenance. Most clients get a mix of these on one monthly retainer.

Do you work with FareHarbor?

Yes. Much of our client work runs on FareHarbor, and we set up booking tracking so ad and search results tie back to real bookings, not just clicks.

Can you help my business show up in ChatGPT and other AI answers?

Yes. We check how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews describe your business, then fix the content, structured data and listings they rely on. See AI visibility.

Do you build websites?

Yes. We build WordPress websites designed around direct bookings, and we optimize existing sites when a rebuild is not needed. A website is quoted as a separate project. Try the website ROI calculator.

Can we keep some marketing in house?

Yes. Plenty of operators keep some work in house and hand us the rest. We scope the retainer around what you need us to run.

Pricing and contracts

How much does BeaconPoint cost?

Retainers run from $800 to $3,200 a month, plus ad spend, which goes to the ad platforms. Most operators invest $1,500 to $6,000 a month in total, retainer and ad spend combined. Where you land depends on how many channels we run for you and how hard you want to push in peak season. See pricing. We send an exact quote after we look at your business.

Is ad spend included in the retainer?

No. Ad spend is separate and goes to Google and Meta, not to us. You approve the budget, and we move it up or down with your season. The retainer covers strategy, management, content and reporting.

Are there setup fees?

Ongoing work runs on the monthly retainer. If you need one-time work, such as a new website, it is quoted separately and agreed in writing before anything starts. No surprises on the invoice.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Every plan is month to month. You can pause or cancel any time. We keep clients by getting results, not by trapping them in a contract.

How do I know if it would pay for itself?

Use the break-even calculator on our pricing page. Enter your retainer, ad spend, average booking value and margin, and it shows how many extra bookings a month cover the whole cost.

Results and references

What results has BeaconPoint produced?

Recent examples: 99% more direct revenue for Nice Guy Tours (2026 vs 2025, year to date), 142% more bookings from Google Ads for Le Petit Navire (summer 2025 vs 2024), 28% more website revenue for Golden Boat Rentals (July to September, year over year) and 14 of 15 money keywords in Google's top 10 for Paddle Board Outfitters. Details are on Our Work.

How do you measure those results?

Every result compares the same months year over year, so seasonality is matched, and comes from the client's own data: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Search Console or their booking system. Each case study on Our Work lists the metric, the period, the source and anything else that changed. We publish percentages rather than dollar figures to protect client confidentiality.

Can I talk to your clients?

Yes, and we encourage it. Ask on your discovery call and we will connect you with two or three operators in a similar category. Clients available as references include Nice Guy Tours, Le Petit Navire, Bites of the Bluegrass, WayOut Adventure Rentals and Golden Boat Rentals. Ask them anything.

How long before I see results?

Paid ads usually show booking data within the first month. SEO and content build more slowly, typically over three to six months. We report every month, so you see the trend from the start rather than waiting for a big reveal.

How do you report results?

Every month you get a plain-English report: what your marketing earned in dollars, which channels booked guests, what it cost, and what we are doing next. No dashboards to decode.

Getting started

What happens on the discovery call?

We look at your website, your listings and how guests find you today, then talk through where the bookings are. If it looks like a fit, we send a quote scoped to your season. No pressure either way.

How do I get started?

Book a discovery call, or request pricing if you want numbers first. Prefer to start with data? The Instant Revenue Analysis takes about two minutes.
