Tour operator marketing results
The work, and what it produced.
We do not publish case studies about impressions. Every result below is tied to bookings, revenue, or capacity, because those are the only numbers that change how your season ends.
Nice Guy Tours, food tours
99% more direct revenue
The problem. Most bookings ran through OTAs, and the website was not earning search traffic of its own.
What we did. Rebuilt the site and ran an ongoing SEO and content program. Organic search traffic is up 55% year over year (2026 vs 2025), and more of those visitors now book direct.
Le Petit Navire, boat cruises
142% more bookings from Google Ads
The problem. About a fifth of revenue went through OTAs, and Google Ads were not pulling their weight.
What we did. Rebuilt the Google Ads account around purchases, not clicks. Conversion rate rose from 5.2% to 8.3% and cost per booking fell 12% (summer 2024 vs 2025).
Paddle Board Outfitters, watercraft rentals
14 of 15 money keywords in Google's top 10
The problem. A booking-platform migration broke the pages the site used to rank for, and search traffic collapsed.
What we did. Repaired the broken redirects, optimized the existing activity pages and published steady content. Six money keywords reached number one and clicks grew 272% in one quarter.
Bites of the Bluegrass, food tours
127% more organic traffic in the first summer of optimization
The problem. Bookings had stalled after the previous agency switched off all ads and social when its contract ended.
What we did. Optimized the existing site's homepage and tour pages, added FAQ, gallery and press pages, published fresh content, and relaunched Google and Meta ads. Google Ads ran at a 7.8x return on ad spend.
Golden Boat Rentals, pontoon rentals
28% more website revenue, July to September
The problem. Weekdays were hard to fill, and the business had never run paid advertising.
What we did. Built and launched Google and Meta campaigns. Website revenue grew 28% from July to September, year over year, and Google Ads returned 5.1x in its first season.
WayOut Adventure Rentals, bike rentals
#1 in Google's local results for "mountain bike rentals Asheville"
The problem. A brand-new business with an amateur website and stalled bookings.
What we did. Rebuilt the site, moved booking to FareHarbor, and ran local SEO, content and PR.
How we report results
Check our numbers. Call our clients.
Every result above comes from the client's own analytics, ad, search or booking data. Each case study lists the metric, the period, the source and anything else that changed. We publish percentages, not dollar figures, to protect client confidentiality. If you want to hear it first-hand, we will connect you with two or three clients in a similar category. References include Nice Guy Tours, Le Petit Navire, Bites of the Bluegrass, WayOut Adventure Rentals and Golden Boat Rentals.
